Red Sea Resort: Shura Island

As stunning resorts open their doors and innovative projects reach completion, local, regional and international visitors are flocking to this revitalised Red Sea coastal paradise.

The secluded island escape, St Regis Red Sea Resort welcomed its first guests in January of this year, and the Nujuma, a Ritz Carlton Reserve eco-escape officially opened this summer in May, whilst the Six Senses Southern Dunes was the first luxury Red Sea destination to open in November of 2023. Other destinations are expected to open this year including the buy-out only island resort of Thuwal Private Retreat.

Shura Island is also nearing completion with 11 world-class hotels, a marina boasting almost 120 berths for luxury yachts, a vibrant beach club rivalling those found in the south of France and a top-class links golf course that is expected to attract internationally renowned players will be completed by 2025.
