Forget straight laced luxury, this is all about family fun and learning about turtles!

Jumeirah Al Naseem isn't your typical luxury hotel: this Dubai beach resort sits right on the sandy shores of the Arabian Gulf, and offers epic water adventures alongside indulgent dining experiences and other exciting activities that make it the ideal escape for the whole crew.

Jumeirah Al Naseem: Where a luxury stay and an environmentally friendly experience converge

Uniquely positioned as a luxury hotel with environmental responsibility at its core, the Jumeriah Al Naseem as a whole opts for environmentally friendly options throughout the hotel such as no plastic straws, refillable glass bottles over plastic bottles and removing plastic packaging for any inroom amenities such as toothbrushes and nail files for example.

Spacious rooms as standard also means that everyone gets their own space, and the dedicated kids' clubs will keep the little ones entertained while you relax - and you might even get lucky with a view over the Turtle Lagoon!

The beachside resort allows guests to unwind in paradise whilst also contributing (even in a small, and passive way) to the worthy cause of conservation and protecting our local wildlife, and making small adjustments towards becoming more environmentally friendly.

Whether you're a passionate conservationist or simply seeking a meaningful and enriching getaway for yourself and your family, Jumeirah Al Naseem promises an unforgettable stay with an array of special events and experiences.

About Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP)

The Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP) is a collaborative effort dedicated to bringing injured turtles back to the ocean. Working alongside the Dubai's Wildlife Protection Office, DTRP receives vital support from the veterinary team of Dubai's Royal Family for medical care and the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory (CVRL) for advanced diagnostics. Pioneering this vital initiative in the region, the DTRP is celebrating 20 years and has released over 2,150 rehabilitated turtles back into their natural habitat since 2004.

With this in mind, the Jumeriah Al Naseem partners and supports the prestigious work of Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP), and the hotel offers guests a chance to connect with conservation efforts.

This world-class initiative rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured sea turtles back into their natural habitat. From witnessing these gentle giants recover in specially designed lagoons to tracking their journeys after release, Jumeirah Al Naseem allows you to experience the wonder of marine conservation firsthand and contribute to a vital ecological cause.

For the Whole Family: The Turtle Release

Perhaps the most distinctive feature of a stay at the Jumeirah Al Naseem is the exclusive experience to attend the final release of rehabilitated turtles back into the Arabian Gulf.

With semi-permanent trackers attached to their shells to ensure their continued health, the rehabilitation team aim to use the information to learn more about their journey and breeding pattens. For those interested, Jumeirah Al Naseem provides guests with a map link, allowing them to follow these remarkable creatures as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.

Although quite regular, the turtle releases only ever occur when the rehabilitation team deem the turtles fit and ready to take on their new adventure in returning to the ocean.

For the Kids (and Everyone Else!): Feed the Turtles at the Turtle Rehabilitation Sanctuary Lagoon

Learn more about how the Turtle Rehabilitation Sanctuary at Jumeirah Al Naseem helps injured or recovered turtles. At the onsite Turtle Lagoon, five outdoor seawater pools serve as a tranquil haven for injured turtles as they rebuild their strength before returning to their natural habitat. Witnessing these resilient creatures firsthand is a truly humbling experience.

The Turtle Lagoon is also home to two permanent residents - Humpty and Dumpty, two disabled turtles with damaged shells from boating accidents. Despite being fully recovered, the damage to their shells would negatively impact their chances of normal turtle life in the wild, so they remain happily swimming around the lagoon

The outdoor turtle enclosure is open to the public every day and each day at 11am there’s a feeding session that you can join in. (It is important to note that this feeding session is not private, and can include school groups) What’s more you can learn all about turtle biology as well as the global plight they face and the important part they play in our oceanic ecosystems.

For the Adults: Turtle Inspired Afternoon Tea

Perfect for those not looking to spend too much time outside, this turtle inspired afternoon tea is something special. For a truly immersive experience, book a seating for the hotel's unique four-hands afternoon tea at Al Mandhar Lounge.

This culinary collaboration features creations by the resort's renowned Executive Pastry Chef Julien Jacob and legendary Pâtissier and Chocolatier Philippe Rigollot. Together, the twosome have crafted a delectable menu that showcases a selection signature savouries, sweet creations, and nostalgic childhood favourites – all using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.

This delightful afternoon tea is served on an ocean and sea turtle inspired stand adorned with repurposed coral and marble, adding a touch of harmonious elegance - just wait for the Instagrammable moment when poofs of white smoke pour down the structure thanks to a dash of liquid nitrogen.
