For decades, an Elie Saab gown has been synonymous with red-carpet glamour: intricate embellishment, fluid silhouettes and the kind of evening wear designed to command attention. Now, the Lebanese designer is bringing that distinctive world to a far wider audience, joining forces with H&M for one of the retailer’s most anticipated designer collaborations of 2026.
Launching on October 22, 2026, the ELIE SAAB x H&M collection will be available online and in selected H&M stores across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Egypt. The range spans womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories, translating some of the house’s most recognisable signatures into a complete wardrobe.
For Saab, the collaboration marks another chapter in a career that began in Beirut. He founded his fashion house in 1982, aged 18, initially building a reputation through bridal wear before establishing an international presence in haute couture. His ascent to the Paris fashion establishment helped cement his position as one of the region’s most influential designers, while his elaborate gowns have become a fixture on international red carpets.
That sense of occasion runs throughout the new collection. Highlights include floor-length gowns, shimmering separates, sculptural tailoring and sharply cut evening pieces, with emerald green, black and gold forming a dramatic palette. Lace, dégradé sequins, hand-draped shapes and monogram details further reference the visual language of the Elie Saab house.
Among the standout pieces is a sweeping green gown that fades into deeper tones towards the hem, alongside a sculptural black gown with a dramatic train and bow. Elsewhere, sequinned tailoring, embellished bodysuits, lace separates and gradient leather bring Saab’s evening sensibility into more versatile territory.
Menswear mirrors the same tones and styling, with monogrammed silk shirting, tuxedo tailoring and embellished T-shirts, while accessories include rhinestone jewellery, lace gloves, croc-effect bags, platform heels, silk ties and monogrammed scarves.
The result is a collection that brings a little of the Elie Saab fantasy to the high street — with the launch date firmly marked in the calendar.
