Saudi Arabia has been chosen by the Spanish space tourism company Halo Space as the site of its future launch by 2026.

The Saudi Space Commission has granted the business preliminary permission to carry out its sixth test flight from the Kingdom at a height of 32 kilometers above Earth.

Passengers will be able to enjoy an opulent capsule ride affixed to an inflatable balloon, all for a whopping $164,000.

With its eight passenger seats and one pilot's cabin, the capsule boasts 360-degree panoramic windows with unmatched vistas. It is anticipated that the flight will last four to six hours. This news is fantastic because it appears that no extensive or specialized training is required. Thus, take a seat, unwind, and take in the expansive views of the universe.

Last year, Saudi astronaut Rayyanah Barnawi became the first Saudi (and Muslim) woman to launch into space, alongside space explorer Ali Al-Qarni who joined two other astronauts on a privately funded voyage to the International Space Station.

Upholding Vision 2030, this space trip builds on the Kingdom's global leadership in space exploration and scientific collaboration to increase Saudi and international knowledge of space and the possibility for people to flourish in a zero-gravity environment.
