The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Endurance Cup returns to the AlUla desert for a fifth year: considered one of the toughest and most intense horse races both in the region and around the world, this is set to be an international gathering of the best of the best in the endurance riding set.

Home to the ancient site of Hegra, a number of luxurious desert escapes, an array of indulgent restaurant experiences, and several unique art installations, AlUla offers visitors more than just the beauty of an expansive desert landscape.

Taking place over two days this weekend, almost 200 jockeys and their steads will race against each other through 120 kilometres of desert sands and intense terrain of the AlUla region. Considered the ultimate test of skill and endurance for both man and animal, this is not for the faint of heart.

This race is followed by yet another intense and eye-watering 160 kilometre race on Sunday February 11, demanding even more of the horses and their riders.

With a massive cash prize pot at stake, alongside the glory of completing this intense event, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup is not to be missed. The top 20 endurance riders in the FEI world rankings will be taking part, alongside members of the Royal Family and Royal Court. Aside from the two massive races, visitors will be able to see 300 top-rated horses accompanied by 1500 riders and crew.

These endurance races will act as an introduction to the esteemed 2026 FEI World Championship.
