September is right around the corner: the scorching summer heat begins to ease off, the local events scene heats up with a burst of activity, and it's also a time when many Saudis and residents return home after spending time abroad.

On September 23, we will commemorate and celebrate the Kingdom's 93rd National Day.

National Day marks the anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom, and is celebrated each year with various events, activities, festivities, fireworks and of course, a public holiday for all.

This year's National Day theme or slogan has been declared as 'We Dream and Achieve'.

As the heat subsides and the rhythm of the city quickens, this month marks the celebration of a dynamic and invigorating chapter in the unfolding tale of this captivating region.

The theme 'We Dream and Achieve' perfectly encapsulates the dynamic and exciting pathway towards the Kingdom's Vision 2030. As we approach the year 2030, Vision 2030 takes centre stage in festivities, underscoring and supporting the nation's remarkable mega-projects, sprawling giga-cities, both international and domestic economic endeavours, and the reinforcement of our collective national identity.

Some of the nation's major projects are depicted in the official imagery for Saudi's 93rd National Day, including: Trojena, Sindalah, The Line, The Mukaab and the continued growth of the Saudi Space Commission and protection of local areas such as Hegra in AlUla.

Many National Day celebrations and events are expected to occur all over Saudi.
